Biography
Ina completed her MChem degree at the University of Oxford. During her Master’s year she worked on the synthesis of novel mitochondrially targeted anti-cancer prodrugs under the supervision of Dr Nicola Farrer and Professor Stephen Faulkner. Prior to this, she did a summer project at TU Wien (Vienna) on photochromic polymers with Dr Patrick Knaack in Professor Robert Liska’s group.
During her PhD in the Booth group, she will work on nucleic acid-hydrogel structures and temperature-activated nucleic acid technologies.
Besides her academic pursuits, she is a keen coxswain, skier, and cook.
